During her AGM speech, TAAM President Mrs. Patience Nyondo presented a detailed overview of the Association’s activities over the past year.
These included high-level engagements with airlines, a constructive meeting with the Presidential Delivery Unit (PDU), and active participation in regional and international tourism expos, including KATA (Kenya), Malawi Tourism Expo, and ZATEX (Zambia).
She noted that government restructuring now places most aviation and tourism issues under one ministry, improving coordination for future engagements.
These efforts, she said, have strengthened TAAM’s advocacy role and increased its visibility in the region.
